Welcome to The Nadia Plesner Foundation

The Nadia Plesner Foundation is a non profit organization which was founded in 2008 by Danish artist Nadia Plesner. Through the foundation Plesner aims to use her art as a platform to promote human rights as one part of her artistic practice.

It was founded following the great success of Plesner's Simple Living campaign, which raised awareness and funds for Darfur. One of the key aspects in the campaign was the international community's lack of involvement in Darfur, and that sparked the idea of a foundation with that specific goal: Involvement.

All work is done by volunteers and Plesner also has an increasing collaboration with students from both elementary schools and highschools.
